The Sarel Cilliers High School is a relatively young school with a proud history and tradition.
Initially there were two schools in Glencoe namely the Willie Maree Technical High School and Glencoe High School.
The Department of Education, however, decided that the two schools should amalgamate and thus, in 1974 Sarel Cilliers High School was established.
