FAMILY-run business, Shoukut's Meat Market is well-known in the Crawford-community, having been located in the area for the past 30 years.
The butchery - located on the corner of Thornton and Camberwell Roads, Crawford opposite Alexander Sinton High School since 2000.
The revamped store, with 120m2 of floor-space, which is about double the size it used to be, was officially launched the 23 June 2003. The bigger premises houses new ultra-modern equipment, including a polony-making machine and mixer, as well as an extra freezer room which have been implemented to increase efficiency at the busy butchery.
The new spacious meat market has steel sheeting on the walls in the preparation area, attesting to the butcher's commitment to strict hygiene and cleanliness.
